We went to the Bottle Tree Park at Yishun last week and Emak decided to check out the Bottle Tree Village at Sembawang this week. The park is so much nicer than the village and to get to the village, you have to drive through this really eerie place. No public transport goes there so we thought the place would not be crowded but we were wrong!

I really love how the tree looks. This bottle tree is native to Queensland, Australia, can grow up to 40 feet and can withstand temperatures of -10 degrees Celcius to +50 degrees Celcius in it's natural habitat.

This is how the tree looks like when it is still a "toddler".

They have a playground there but it's not impressive. The one at Yishun is A LOT better.

Very lively place but the park is still the better place as you can go fishing and prawning there.

the park in sembawang is near my mamma's old kampung.. i can imagine it'll be very eerie at night. Better to go there during the day, a nice place to cycle and just lepak. My parents used to cycle to that place from woodlands..
