We went to the DBS Arts Centre to watch a play today. "I think I can" - that was the title of the play. It is about this girl, Becky, who was too afraid to give a speech in school but she gained confidence with the help of her cat and two hamsters. There was a lot of dancing and singing and the stage props were really colourful but the play was rather short. I was expecting a one-hour play but it didn't last that long. It started slightly after 2pm and ended at 2:45. We felt that it was not really worth the $64 we paid for and we were quite disappointed because we normally enjoy plays by the Little Company.
