After lunch, Emak went shopping at Suntec when Ayah saw the ducktours and he immediately suggested that we take the ducktours! It was very very interesting. The commentator was very good and we learnt many things about Singapore from him. It was a one-hour trip, with the "duck" travelling along Shenton Way and Marina and into the Singapore River.

Emak managed to get a good shot of the Oriental Hotel, a place that is of significance to Emak and Ayah as that was where they got married.

After the tiring tour, we got hungry and went to the Rice Table for dinner before heading home.

Emak and Ayah also got someone to "make" postage stamps for us! Ayah intends to use those stamps the next time we send letters to my grandaunts and granduncles in Perth.

I've been sick. I was put under observation at the hospital today and have to be monitored closely for the next 4 days. Sigh.

I had a very tiring day today. After visiting Nyai, we went for lunch at Fish&Co and Emak let me eat real food!!! I had coriander dory fillet and orange rice. Yummy! After that Emak bought herself a Dopod ( much to Ayah's jealousy) and we then realised that we had lots of time to kill so we went for a drink at the beach club. The Club is a really nice place and we haddrinks at the boardwalk cafe while listening to the sounds of the waves (www.changibc.org.sg).

Even after all that we still had a lot of time to kill so we went to NSRCC (nsrcc.com.sg) for me to run around. Ayah loves the NSRCC and so do I! We forgot to bring a camera with us but I will remember to do that next time so that I can snap some pictures.

Then at about 7 we left for Auntie Prema's place. I had a fun time playing with Arati and Adi that night but too bad Ayah forgot the digicam! We left Auntie Prems'a place at about 10pm and I fell asleep the minute I got into the car!

Ayah came back from Australia today, after almost three weeks of being away from me and Emak. I went to the airport to pick him up but when I saw him, instead of running to hug him, I was very angry with him. I refused to look at him and did not acknowledge him although I hugged him tightly when he held me. I felt very angry with Ayah because he went overseas for so long without taking me along. Now I'm no longer angry with Ayah but I keep insisting that he carries me all the time! Hehe.

I have finally recovered and will be going back to school very soon.Yay! The teacher from Seimpi called today because she is concerned that I have been absent for two lessons and wanted to know how I am. That was very nice of her, unlike some other school that calls only to ask for money and was not concerned that I was absent for so many lessons. I also realise that Emak has stopped sending me to so many classes like she used to. She has decided to just let me be and let me just play with Nenek day in and day out. But I doubt this will last long, knowing how kiasu Emak is. I miss Ayah and can't wait for him to be back!

I went to Raffles Hospital again this morning. My fever keeps coming back and Nenek has been very worried about the whole thing and she insisted that Emak take me to Dr Toh. Dr Toh said that I have lots of phlegm and she wants me to go and see her again this week so that she can take a second look at my lungs. Sigh.

Ayah called Emak early this morning to tell her what a nice place Surfers' Paradise in Brisbane is. He then emailed Emak 27 pictures of Brisbane!I also heard Ayah telling Emak that they should take me there in June!

I skipped Seimpi today and went shopping with Emak, Nenek and Uncle Larry. When Ayah called from Brisbane to ask why I did not attend Seimpi, Emak told him that I was unwell but Ayah didn't believe her. Really lah, Ayah! I am still coughing and I have mucus flowing like a river out of my nostril. Tak bedek!

I have started eating rice and I can now eat on my own, which means that I'm a GROWN UP! Yay! It's so fun being a grown up because I can now eat colourful food instead of the bland boring porridge I've been given for the past one year.

Although I can now eat on my own, Nenek still prefers to feed me because she said I take a long time to finish my food and I always make such a mess.

I have been sick these few days. I sound so nasal and there's mucus constantly flowing out of my nostrils. Emak and Nenek took me to the Children's Centre today and the paediatrician said that I need a lot of rest. I think I miss Ayah too, who is away in Australia.

Emak was so impressed with my good behaviour at the SSO concert last year and Disney on Ice last month that she decided it was time to expose me to plays. So last Saturday, we went to catch my first play, 'The Sound Collector'. The play was about a noisy girl who liked to disturb her neighbour with the many sounds that she made. Her neighbour, on the other hand, was afraid of sounds. One day, the noisy girl woke up to realise that all the sounds that she liked had been stolen by the sound collector. It was an interactive play and when the audience laughed, I made sure I laughed hard too! I was attentive throughout the one hour play and Emak and Ayah decided that I am ready to watch more plays. Immediately after the play, Emak queued up to purchase tickets to 'The Selfish Giant' but the queue was so long she gave up after 15 minutes. But I'm sure Emak will find other means to buy the tickets so that we can all watch the play.
While waiting for the play to start, I posed outside the theatre and chewed on a straw.

Emak got me my own ticket so I had a seat all to myself, with a booster seat on it but I hated it and ended up sitting on Ayah's lap throughout.
Check out the cute props for the play.
After the play, I went walking around Robertson Quay.
After that. all of us were hungry and went for dinner.

Last Friday, I went to Abang Faris' house and saw a drum set. I really liked it and kept playing with it so Emak got Ayah to buy me a set after we left Abang Faris' house. I've been drumming for days now, much to Nenek's annoyance. Hehe!

Yesterday, while Emak was busy chatting on MSN with Auntie Audrina, she put me right in front of the radio and made me listen to "Red Hat, Green Hat". Then, I unexpectedly said "red hat, green hat" in sync with the characters on the show! Emak got such a shock she screamed for Nenek and Nenek panicked because she thought I had puked. Haha!

Nenek just scolded Emak ( as usual) and said, "Tak habis habis Emak kau ni dengan computer. Orang dah ada anak duduk jaga anak jangan asik nak main computer aja!".

Last Sunday was a terrific day. After Seimpi, we rushed down to the Indoor Stadium to catch Disney on Ice. I have been waiting for more than a month for this event. Emak and Ayah were very proud of me because I was very well-behaved throughout the show. I even clapped dutifully and shouted "yay" at the end of each performance!
A pose with the banner.
Since I can't get on stage, let me take a picture near the stage.
The place was pretty crowded but Ayah bought us first row seats so we had unblocked view of everything.
And that's me waiting anxiously for the event to begin.
This couple actually posed for Emak to snap a shot of them but Emak forgot to turn on the flash!
That was Mickey in a hot air balloon.
The tickets that got us in! These tickets have been stuck on the fridge door for more than a month!
The toy soldiers.
Everyone's all-time favourites : Mickey, Minnie and Donald.
MY favourite, Minnie Mouse!
Alladdin and the genie.
The multiplication of genies!
Nemo!
I'm sure what these were but they looked like a bunch of high school band members.
Pinochio and Gappeto.
Mulan!
The Incredibles!
At the end of the show, all those who sat in front got to shake hands with the characters. Ayah said that was the best part of the event.

i had a fun time today! After Seimpi, we went for a walk at the Botanic Gardens. I walked so much and saw a few black swans! After the walk, we went for lunch at Orchard before heading home.
Yoohoo! Where's everyone?

Check out the swans! They seem bigger than me!
At night, Emak and Ayah took me for another walk. We walked from the Asian Civilisations Museum all the way to the gorgeous Fullerton Hotel. The area was so beautiful and lively.
We also went to catch an exhibition at the Arts House. It was a very interesting exhibition on self-censorship, held at the Chamber of the Old Parliament House.
After that, I attended my very first open air concert. There was a band on stage and people were just sitting on the grass listening to their music. One of the organisers gave me a luminous light to be worn around my wrist but Ayah could not figure out how to fix it so I ended up putting it in my mouth instead! I had such a tiring day I fell asleep on the way home in the car.
