During the recent CNY celebrations at school, I did a little something for my classmates and teachers. Since I'm the only Singaporean in the class, I took the liberty of disseminating some information with regard to CNY practices and its significance. Each of my teachers and classmates received a white paper bag which contained 2 oranges, a hongbao with 8 "chocolate" gold coins and a CNY card which explained the significance of CNY, oranges and hongbao. I enjoyed doing this so much that I've decided to do this again for all local celebrations and festivities.
