The milking session is done from 9-11am everyday. According to the sign found at the farm, milking is usually done once a day in the morning. The milking machine can handle 12 goats per session of 5 - 10 minutes. Using the pipeline system, the farmer filters, chills and drains the milk from the goats into the storage tank.
The milk undergoes homogenisation and pasteurisation. It is then packaged by an automatic bottling machine before being stored in a refrigerator at 4 degrees Celsius. Throughout the entire process, the milk is not handled by human hands. At Hay Dairies, freshly-processed milk is sold on the same day it is taken from the goats.

When Emak saw the sign that said that goat's milk is good for those with arthritis, Emak bought one whole tub of milk for Nenek. Nenek has been complaining that Emak has been torturing her because Emak has been buying tonnes of milk and soya bean milk for Nenek to drink and Nenek hates it!After the goat farm, Ayah drove us to the Mandai Orchid Garden as Emak wanted to see how orchids are grown. It is a beautiful place and I had a great time walking around the place.

I didn't want to leave the place and kept crying and struggling when Ayah carried me away!
