We skipped Tien Hsia again. This is the third time this term that we skipped Tien Hsia. Emak said her "maternal instincts" prompted her not to allow me to go to school this week as she does not want me to fall sick before our Disneyland trip. Ayah was of course more than willing to skip school and so we dragged Nenek out of the house to go shopping with us.

We didn't buy anything much, just a thermos flask, a water bottle, an air-tight container for my milk. As usual, Emak managed to con Nenek into buying me new clothes. Hahaha!

After we were done with the shopping, we went to Far East Plaza to look for ayam penyet.Nenek told us that she has heard about this ayam penyet for a while and would like to have a taste of it so we called Tanter to ask her for the location of the eating place. She told us to look for this place called "Ayam Penyet Ria" on the 2nd floor of Far East Plaza. We went round the place twice but we still could not find it. Emak called Tanter again to ask her exactly where it was and we were told it was next to a Malay barber. We looked again but to no avail. Then Tanter called to tell us it was on the 4th floor, not 2nd. So round the 4th floor we went, TWICE, but we still could not find it. Then we tried the 5th floor and still nothing. THEN, Tanter called and told us THAT IT IS ACTUALLY AT LUCKY PLAZA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By then, we had lost our moods and couldn't be bothered to go to Lucky Plaza and decided to just settle for whatever we could get.

And that's the ayam penyet everyone keeps talking about!!!! What's the big deal???? It's just ayam goreng with sambal belacan!!!

After all that stress, I thought of doing everyone a favour by driving them home.
But I lost my way and had to check for directions.

But I suspect the street directory was mocking my chipped tooth when it "reminded" me of my dental appointment!
